About Inside the Cubicle
My Story
I started as a security guard at Amazon. Over the next decade, I worked my way up to Microsoft Senior Leader roles at both Amazon/AWS and Microsoft, leading talent development programs and designing learning systems for thousands of employees.
I saw firsthand how the system works: who gets promoted, who gets stuck, and why talented people get left behind. The difference was rarely about talent. It was about strategy, self-advocacy, and understanding the rules nobody tells you.
In 2025, I launched Inside the Cubicle to bring those strategies to the people who need them most: corporate professionals navigating high-pressure environments and universities preparing the next generation for competitive job markets.
I am a University of Washington Communications Leadership graduate, recognized by Influence Digest as one of the Top 15 Career Coaches in Seattle in 2025, and a contracted career coach for the UW Communication Leadership Graduate Program.
